Aluminum Alloy 1050 Ultra-Wide Aluminum Coil (1.2mm × 2000mm) for Laser Cutting and Slitting

Product Description:

The Aluminum Alloy 1100, with a thickness of 1.2mm and a width of 1800mm, is a high-purity aluminum alloy (99.0% minimum aluminum, with trace amounts of iron, silicon, and copper) in O-temper or H14 temper, designed as a substitute for stainless steel in applications requiring weight reduction and corrosion resistance. It offers excellent corrosion resistance, good formability (elongation ~15-30% in O-temper), and low strength (tensile strength ~90-120 MPa), making it suitable for non-structural components. Its lightweight nature (density ~2.70 g/cm³) provides up to 65% weight savings compared to stainless steel (density ~7.8 g/cm³). The alloy’s high thermal conductivity (~222 W/m·K) and recyclability (recovery rate >95%) make it ideal for sustainable manufacturing in industries like construction, automotive, and marine. The 1800mm width supports large-scale production for panels, cladding, and fittings.

Advantages

Core Benefits:

Advantage Detailed description

High Thermal Conductivity

With ~222 W/m·K, it supports heat dissipation in applications like heat exchangers or automotive parts.

Workability

Excellent weldability (e.g., MIG, TIG) and compatibility with coatings or anodizing enhance its versatility.

Corrosion Resistance

High purity ensures resistance to moisture, salt, and industrial pollutants, ideal for marine and urban environments.

High Formability

Elongation (~15-30% in O-temper) enables shaping into complex panels and components without cracking.

Cost-Effectiveness

Lower material and processing costs compared to stainless steel make it ideal for high-volume production.

Significant Weight Reduction

With a density of 2.70 g/cm³, it provides up to 65% weight savings compared to stainless steel (7.8 g/cm³), reducing structural and transport costs.

Case Studies
